I feel very lucky and thankful that in 2011 so many families opened their homes up and invited me in to capture some of the most precious moments a family shares. I must say photographing, holding and playing with so many newborns and children is fun, refreshing and really puts life into perspective. As I have said a number time before, they truly are life’s everyday miracle. I absolutely loved this session with 4 day old baby Ellie.

I am such a dog lover, so it is no surprise I was thrilled to have Lily join in for a few family photos.

I met baby Ellie just after Thanksgiving so it was perfect timing to do a Christmas card + birth announcement in one…Is this not the cutest little Rudolf ever?
