I just love this sweet family! I did little Ellie's newborn shoot last year and was so flattered when they asked me to do her 1 year old session. We had so much fun! This little one did THREE outfit changes and she knew how to rock each of them :) Happy 1st Birthday Ellie! Here is some cuteness from her shoot. How adorable is she in her little tutu and leg warmers!

I am always so grateful when families book me for a 1st year series. There are many different options my clients will choose to do, but for Lincoln, his parents secured me for newborn, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year photo sessions. It's so much fun for me to get to see the kids again and capture how quickly they grow up - I met Lincoln when he was just days old...he just seems to get taller and taller by the day! I'm pretty sure he has to be one of the cutest kids in town! Dad unfortunately couldn't make the shoot  this time - but Lincoln sure loved taking a few photos with his mama that day! So handsome...and those eyes are beautiful! I have a feeling he's going to be a little heartbreaker :)

Here in Richmond, we have some of the most gorgeous parks! I think this family picked the exact perfect day for their family session - it was just as most every tree was a beautiful yellow-orange combination of color and the day before Hurricane Sandy was expected to hit shore - once Sandy came, the leaves were all blown off the trees at this particular location. Thankful Richmond did not get much damage at all during that storm. How cute is this family, from their adorable kiddos to their perfectly planned outfits this mama decided on...I could have photographed this family all day long.  I love the girls' polka-dot skirt so much! I'm not going to lie, I kind of wish it was made for grown-ups and that it would be acceptable for me to wear in public :)
