Anna Grey is beautiful inside and out. It was truly an amazing experience getting to to know and document Anna Grey and Spencer. They were married this past Saturday in Siler City, NC and are currently enjoying their Jamaican honeymoon! Here are a few of my favorites from Anna Grey’s bridal session…
Meet the lovely Erika. Our husbands went to graduate school together and became fast friends which lead to many double dates that entailed lots of good belly laughs. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I first met Chris and Erika and now they are expecting their first baby…a little lady. I am beyond excited for these two become parents! Erika, you sure make one gorgeous mama-to-be!
Chris and Erika, thank you for letting me document this special moment in your lives! I am so excited to meet your little girl!
I am in love with this session in so many ways. Not only did Blain pick the cutest outfits, her hair and make-up looked fantastic (huge thanks to the the talented Miss Lindsey Regan Thorne), but these two were just too darn adorable in front of the camera. Seriously I could barely stand it…happiness overload! Shooting their engagement session made me even more excited for their March wedding next year – couples that are this madly in love make my heart so happy. We walked and laughed the entire evening around a cute little neighborhood of Charlotte, it was a perfect session if you ask me!
I told you they were adorable. I love these next two photos below, the one under a tree was a 100% perfectly candid moment. And the individual shot of Blain to the right…I mean can my brides be any more gorgeous?
Congratulations Matt and Blain, here’s to enjoying the rest of your engagement and looking forward to March…I am already so very excited for the big day!
So thrilled to finally share the news that images from an inspiration shoot I photographed back in late March was just published in the beautiful 2012 Summer Issue of Weddings Unveiled Magazine!
We were beyond excited after hearing that our shoot was selected a couple months ago – waiting to reveal these images was the hard part! I am so grateful to have worked with such a talented group of ladies on this shoot. Janice of Bellwether Events dreamed up this Garden Party using children’s story, James and the Giant Peach, as her inspiration. The florals in this shoot are beyond amazing all thanks to the uber-talented Holly of Holly Chapple Flowers. The design of this shoot is whimsical, romantic with a touch a of quirk.
Hugs and High-fives to all the AMAZING friends who collaborated in this shoot ::

Courtney and Matt had a beautiful May wedding in Chapel Hill. They truly have a special relationship which made it so easy for me to capture their love and happiness, and not to mention they both have this sense of calm that shows in their photographs. I found that they were amazingly comfortable in front of the camera during past sessions – Just check out Courtney’s Bridal Portraits (She is GORGEOUS!) and see their fall Engagement Session.
As I was choosing the images for their blog post I just kept thinking how kind and full love of both Matt and Courtney are. I went back to look at their engagement session and funny enough I wrote about how upon meeting them for the first time I thought they were one of the most authentic, loving couples I had met. Take a peek at some of my favorites moments from their May wedding.
Below you’ll see one of the beautifully embroidered handkerchiefs she had made for her mom and soon-to-be Mother-in-Law. I was in love with her Lela Rose gown…as were her bridesmaids as you can see above :)
Courtney’s sweet mother made three different veils over the course of planning and the last one she made was the absolute perfect choice to compliment her wedding gown.
How adorable are Courtney’s two nephews below? The handsome groom and lovely bride. How adorable are her shoes?!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Dean! Thank you for letting me document your love!
