I am super excited to have met these two. They laugh, A LOT. Mo + Mike are getting married in less than a month at the Four Seasons in Washington, DC and after spending a few hours with these two, there is no doubt that this wedding is going to be one for the books. Let the official countdown begin!
Love the streets of DC. The mister and I will be spending a few days there next week and I cannot wait! Looking forward to March! Oh and a big THANK YOU for my glass of wine not firing me after I locked y'all out of your own home ;)
Last year as I started to develop my new brand, a huge part of the process was to really determine my ideal clients. It is important to me that my couples feel comfortable with me and I with them. I have truly been lucky to meet the people I have so far - my clients are awesome and I am so thankful for the friendships I have been able to create along the way. Courtney and I met briefly at another wedding I was photographing - and when I heard from her mom after Courtney got engaged I was so excited they contacted me. Having an authentic connection with my clients is critical to me doing my best work. It is 2012 and I am so looking forward to working with each and every one of my clients this year - It is going to be a FANTASTIC YEAR!
We started their engagement session at the NC State bell tower per Matt's request (no arguments from me...GO PACK!). We had a fun afternoon as we walked around during their session - it was such a pretty day that everyone was out and about enjoying the weather...these two definitely had an audience everywhere we went, but no worries, as you can see below Courtney and Matt are naturals in front of the camera ;)
Probably one of my most favorite images from the session below. Let the countdown begin to Courtney + Matt's May wedding!
Meghan Reece Brown: Cyn - cute photos of a really cute couple! (06.01.2012, 11:01AM)
MacKenzie: Adorable! First, they are so cute. Second, your photos of them are so pretty! I love the warmth you captured among the late-fall leaves! Nice work Cyn :) (06.01.2012, 11:01AM)
Claire and Matt are getting married at the Carolina Inn next August...and I am SUPER excited! Sometimes you go to meet a client for a consult and everything just clicks. I met with Claire and Matt for a causal lunch outside (so I could bring my pup) and we ended up chatting for a couple hours while we ate a yummy lunch and enjoyed some wine. It was perfect. I was so thrilled when the two of them asked me photograph their wedding! Just hearing Claire's vision for their wedding - from the flowers, to the colors and little details has me counting down the days! Adorable, right?
