Happy [almost] New Year! | Giveaway
Hi friends! I hope everyone had some quality time with family and friends as we near the end of 2011. I love celebrating on New Year's Eve! It is the perfect time to reflect on the year...it reminds us of all we have to be thankful for, it shows us all what we are capable of and how much we have grown in just one year. New Year's Eve also gives us the opportunity to think of what we want to accomplish, how we want to continue to grow, who we want to reconnect with or maybe continue to connect with in the new year. The New Year gives each of a fresh start to show ourselves, our families and even the world what we each are capable of.
This year I wrote a list of 3 words that I will strive to live up to everyday. One of the words on my list that I want to share with you is :: CHALLENGE.
I know I can challenge myself everyday in different ways - both personally and professionally. I will challenge myself to be a better wife, sister and daughter. I will challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone. I will challenge myself to push boundaries on creativity. I will challenge myself to continue to surround myself with positive people.
In honor of the upcoming New Year I wanted to giveaway a few pretty awesome prizes!

Laura: I am already a frequent visitor to the blog and a fan on facebook! My favorite things about the holidays:
- Singing Christmas Carols ALOUD in Stores while shopping
- The smell of a REAL Christmas tree
- Going to the midnight Christmas Eve service and singing "Silent Night" by candle light
- Being with friends and family
- COOKIE DOUGH (but this is kind-of a year round thing!!!)

Facebook + Twitter, check! (01.12.2011, 3:12PM) - Tracy Robinson: Favorite thing about Christmas is experiencing it all through the eyes of a 5yr old. Everything is SOO exciting and magical. Even the little things like where to hang our stockings and pulling out last year's pictures of his Santa visits. This year he wanted to decorate his room & his baby sister's room. 1. Twinkly lights! Everything looks special with a little shimmer and sparkle
2. Family time - I can't get enough of those wonderful people!
3. Lifted spirits - I love that people are more giving, kind, warm and positive around the holidays. And I LOVE that people are more reflective about the things they are grateful for in their lives!
4.Story telling - I LOVE telling and hearing life stories from my family. There is nothing better than building deeper relationships!

Caroline Carroll: My favorite things about this time of year are:
1) All the attention on Jesus
2) Finally a time to spoil the ones you love by giving back a little
3) It's an incredibly easy time of year to do good deeds!
4) Obviously all the fire side snuggling and shopping!
5) And last but certainly not least; HOPEFULLY, my favorite thing about *this* Christmas will be an engagement!!

1. exams are OVER by mid December (law school problems)
2. hugging old Sanford friends - the road to Christmas leads back home!
3. spending all day over snacks and laughs with family - Christmas calories don't count!
4. getting and giving presents (for the girls - how HARD are guys to buy for??)
5. holiday dresses. there is simply no better time for a cute cocktail dress!
6. AND finally the fact that, for a little bit, time seems to slow down enough for you to appreciate all your blessings - remember the reason for the season!

Its December 1st and I already have my presents purchased and under the tree! I LOVE wrapping with pretty paper and hand-tying bows. I am trilled about this Christmas because my hubby and I get to share it with our little girl and teach her the reason for the season. What a wonderful holiday this will be! (01.12.2011, 12:12PM)
