I have been so excited to meet Lisa and Dave! They braved the early morning chill of January for their engagement session - even though it was super cold, you would never know it by looking at these photos filled with gorgeous, warm sunlight. And not to mention they were awesomely cute and cozy together for the camera :)
I will be shooting in Charleston, SC this fall for Lisa and Dave's wedding...needless to say I am super stoked!!! Charleston is hands down one of my favorite cities...pretty streets, sandy beaches, history and lots of yummy food!
Congratulations Lisa and Dave! Looking forward to October!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!!!
I absolutely LOVED reading each of your words for 2012 that I wanted to share a few as inspiration.Now on to announce the winners!

I was browsing Pinterest and came across these words. Such perfect words to live by in 2012. I am so very grateful for everything in 2011. 2011 was such a monumental and fantastic year for my husband and I individually and together as a couple - personally and professionally.
Our 2011 highlights ::
Nick matched at his top choice for OMFS residency | I took the leap to run my company full-time | Nick graduated top of his class at UNC Dental School | We moved to a new city and absolutely love it! | Since moving we have filled our free weekends with friends and family visiting - we feel so lucky + loved | My little sister, Jennifer graduated UNC undergraduate and accepted an awesome job - I am such a proud sister! | I met some AMAZING colleagues and friends through Making Things Happen | My work was published | Nick and I had a fun, laid back Thanksgiving, just the two of us - which lead to some honest, open life-goal conversations. These conversations brought us even closer and I love him so much more for that | I launched my new brand and am committed to taking my business to the next level | Spent Christmas day together with my family and his parents, I haven't been this excited for a Christmas in a while! | We rang in the new year with some fantastic new friends! | I wrapped up 2011 having photographed 21 weddings (YAY!) and had the opportunity to photograph + meet some wonderful families.
2011 you were full hard work, achievements and happiness. I can't wait live 2012 to the fullest.
