Hank + Ellie | Durham, NC | Family

I spent a couple hours with the Robinson family on Sunday at Duke Gardens. It has been almost 2 years since I saw Hank last during the family’s last photo session with me…and my first time meeting Ellie since she was born. I could not believe how much Hank has grown…and what a little personality he has developed. These kids are too cute!

What did I learn on Sunday? That Hank LOVES to dress up. He LOVES ties. He had an outfit change all prepared for this photo shoot. And I can’t blame him…he looks rather dapper in a button up and tie, don’t you agree? ;)

Modeling his hard work. Hank decided it was a bit warm for his button up and tie. It was time for a water break.

This next shot is one of my favorites of sweet little Ellie. Perfect lighting and such a beautiful baby.


Thank you guys for such a fun Sunday afternoon! I can only imagine the bond Hank and Ellie will have as they grow up together.

Jessica | Bridals | Raleigh, NC

Jessica and Adam were married this past Saturday in Raleigh, NC. Jessica looked absolutely beautiful on the wedding day. Danielle + Matthew | Southern Pines, NC | Smitten

After lots of rainy days leading up to Danielle & Matthew’s shoot we were in a for a pleasant surprise. Perfect early morning temperatures, beautiful sunlight peeking out and horses. After months of phone chats & emails, I was finally happy to meet Danielle and Matthew! I had such a great time exploring parts of Southern Pines with these two :)

Congratulations Danielle and Matthew! I am so excited to see the wedding plans you’ve shared with me come together in the Mountains of NC. I have no doubt it will be perfect.

Eleanor + Drew | Raleigh, NC | Smitten

Eleanor and Drew are so perfectly adorable together. The shoot took place at their cute Raleigh home. After seeing their home and hearing about their wedding decor plans, I knew immediately  that their wedding day will be a perfect depiction of who they are & what they love. I can’t wait to see their vision come together! Want a fun little fact about the groom? He is a chef and mixologist. I know, how cool is that?!

The following photos in the bamboo are my favorite. So colorful and so full of love.
