This shoot was something Amber Housley and I dreamed up after meeting over a year ago. We wanted to be by the water with a gorgeous venue and I happened to cross paths with someone who was able to connect us with the lovely folks at the The Inn at Perry Cabin. We had an amazing time collaborating with other talented vendors in creating this and were so thrilled to see this shoot featured in it’s entirety on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book Vendor Blog! Bridals

This past weekend Blain and Matt kicked off my 2013 wedding season and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! As those two are celebrating on their honeymoon, I am so excited to share a few favorites from Blain’s bridal session we did back in January at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina. I cannot wait to share my favorite moments from their wedding day…but for now you’ll get a peek and just what a gorgeous bride Blain made.

Amanda + Matt | Charlottesville, VA | Engaged

Engagement

Charlottesville is one of the cutest towns in Virginia and is certainly so very pretty year round. Since these two met at UVA they decided it would be the perfect place to do their engagement session and have their wedding. They will be getting married at a beautiful vineyard later this year in September. We did a sunrise session and my goodness was it chilly (I believe it was about 25 degrees out!) but these two rocked it and of course they were okay in helping each other stay warm :)

Matt plays the guitar and sings – I thought it was just adorable that they brought it along for their photos. The images with the guitar are some of my favorites!
