Matt + Sarah are having TWINS! (aka – I’m going to be an AUNTIE!)

I am so so very excited to write this blog post…and for those that follow me on social media probably already know…but my brother-in-law and sister-in-law are having TWINS!!! Which means I get to be an AUNTIE! YAY!!!! And even more exciting, they’re having..TWO GIRLS! Sure, I might be biased, but I think girls are pretty cool ;) The two littlest Kain laides will be making their debut in just a few short weeks!

We took these photos back in November when Sarah was just 21 weeks…now she is approaching 34 weeks! And how adorable is their pup, Finley.

Since Matt + Sarah have a NCSU vs Clemson rivalry in their home, we couldn’t resist incorporating a couple collegiate onesies! Again, I might be a bit biased, but I think the girls will look super cute in red :)

Congratulations Matt + Sarah! I am so excited to be an aunt! We of course would love to have everyone’s happy thoughts and prayers for Sarah to have a safe, healthy and easy delivery. Now I leave you with this gorgeous photo of Sarah below! Let the countdown begin for some serious baby snuggling time!

Engagement

This was the last session I shot in 2012. These two traveled from NY and PA to visit family in NC for the holidays and managed to squeeze a little time for me for their engagement session. With all the gorgeous morning light that warms up these photos y’all would have no idea it was only about 25 degrees this morning. We were COLD, but it was totally worth it.

How cute are Julie and Rob. Just from hearing about the plans they’ve made so far, I am so pumped for their summer wedding!

Congratulations you two! Thanks for braving the cold with me and for being so darn adorable to photograph!

2013 has been off to such a great start! Not sure about you, but I can harley believe how quickly January flew by! I met Amber Housley just over a year ago and we became fast friends. After just spending a day an a half together we dreamed up an inspiration shoot we wanted to collaborate on and made it happen later that spring! We were thrilled to see one of our bouquet images from the shoot published in the latest issue of Southern Weddings Magazine in November and soon after got word that we would have a few more images from that shoot published in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Regional The Knot Issue. We worked with some amazing vendors on this shoot!
